Long Island Woman In Critical Condition After Being Hit By SUV In Parking Lot

The incident took place around noon on Monday, Dec. 28 in Plainview, said the Nassau County Police.

According to detectives, a 63-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot of 401 South Oyster Bay Road when she was struck by an SUV. 

The female was transported to an area hospital with serious head trauma and is currently in critical condition. 

The operator of the SUV remained at the scene. 

The investigation is ongoing.
